I wanted to build a hive that mimicked a wild bee tree. One that could be inspected, but not manipulated. I want to learn from the bees, to see a hive develop in a cavity how the bees want it to develop.
Im excited about this one
I have recently been inspired by hive models other than the Langstroth. For thousands of years bees have been kept in equipment other than these boxes. Skeps, log hives, tree hives, etc.
